Story idea for someone to use...

Earlier today, while watching 's Patreon stream, I got inspired by one of the pictures she was drawing, combined it with a couple of other, older pictures I'd remembered, and I came up with a story idea I thought was kinda cool:


It'd be set in a dystopic, repressive, authoritarian police state, where every citizen is required to wear electromagnetic cuffs on their wrists and ankles at all times. All state police officers are equipped with special computers that let them activate any citizen's cuffs at any time. If the state catches someone breaking the law, or just deems them enough of a threat to the state, or even if they just feel like it (because dictatorship), an officer can activate that person's cuffs, and that person is instantly bound no matter where they are or what they're doing, ready to be captured and detained by the police.

So anyways, if anyone wishes to use this premise for a story, go right ahead - you'd probably do far better with it than I could!
